A skin resurfacing laser treatment that can be used on any skin tone and during any time of year? Unheard of. Unless you’ve heard of LaseMD. Unlike most lasers, LaseMD is based on a “thulium” crystal which is different from any other lasers (which use carbon dioxide). It is a fractional non-ablative laser treatment that uses laser energy to create micro-channels in the skin. These micro-channels stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, which helps to improve the overall health and the quality of the skin at a cellular level.
For impatient patients: this treatment is for you. Many patients see results quickly, within a few days, even after the first treatment. Your skin will continue to repair and renew itself over the following weeks.
LaseMD skin resurfacing treatments can be used to improve a wide variety of common skin concerns and imperfections, including treating active acne and acne scarring, sun damage and melasma, pigmentation, fine lines, uneven skin tone and texture, neck/hand/décolleté rejuvenation, and even hair regrowth. Particularly for people who are no longer benefiting from topical products as much as they once did, LaseMD treatments open the channels within the skin, preparing better entry for any topical applied after.
From $450 | Surface
$650 | Fractional
LaseMD can also be combined with many of our depigmentation methods for $1500, which results in a deeper penetration and superior result.
LaseMD Ultra is a 1927nm non-ablative fractional thulium laser. A fractional laser treats only a fraction of skin tissue at a time, leaving the tissues around the treatment area intact to promote rapid healing. The controlled damage created by the laser stimulates the body’s own natural healing process, which replaces old and damaged cells with healthy new cells.
The 1927nm wavelength thulium laser causes a small wound just below the top layer of the skin (the epidermis), allowing it to treat a number of skin surface imperfections such as sun spots (precancerous), freckles, pigment and sun damage. The heating effect from the laser also results in collagen remodelling in the deeper layers of the skin (the dermis), hence the improvement in wrinkles and skin texture. LaseMD Ultra is non-ablative, which means the top layer of skin remains intact during the treatment. This makes it an excellent low-downtime resurfacing treatment.
LaseMD ULTRA can be used anywhere on the body (face, neck, decolletage, hands, and arms!) to rejuvenate the skin to improve signs of:
3 – 6
There is almost no downtime after a LaseMD treatment. The microbeams and optimized energy levels allow for quick recovery, so you can return to your daily activities immediately. Should LaseMD be undergone for correction, mild grazing will be seen and felt however this will quickly subside as the skin rebuilds. The expect recovery period is 5 – 7 days of low level down time.
Just like with any procedure, there are a few steps you need to take afterward to ensure your body heals well and you get the full effects. Fortunately, there are no medications necessary, and you can fully resume normal activities within two weeks.
Use Sun Protection
You should always use sun protection when you leave the house, as it can prevent cancer, blemishes, and wrinkles. However, it’s especially important after LaseMD treatment, as your skin will be more sensitive. Make sure to avoid sun exposure for at least a week after your session.
Don’t Use Cosmetics
You may be tempted to cover up the lingering pinkness with concealer, but hold that thought. While your skin is still recovering, it’s best to avoid heavy cosmetics that can clog pores and irritate sensitive skin. Instead, wait until all signs of inflammation have disappeared before you apply that foundation.
Moisturise
Your skin will need lots of moisture to heal properly, so make sure you’re keeping it hydrated with moisturizer and serums. However, don’t go overboard with heavy creams, as that can cause acne from clogged pores. Instead, stick to your regular skincare routine and add a little extra care if your skin is drier than normal.
Avoid Alcohol in Cosmetic
Products
Alcohol is incredibly drying, but it’s surprisingly common in makeup and cleansers. Since your skin needs to stay hydrated during recovery, you should check the ingredients on your cosmetics and avoid anything that contains alcohol.
If a laser could win a trophy, it would be this one. eCO2 lasers are the gold standard in scar revision. It can be delivered with a full beam, covering all the skin’s surface, or fractional laser resurfacing, covering between 5 to 60% of the surface area.
The laser works by stimulating collagen as well as breaking down scar tissue. Controlled heating of lasers stimulates a cascade of pro-inflammatory mediators through HSP (heat shock protein). This results in generation of new collagen production in the deeper layers of skin.
eCO2 laser treats an incredible amount of skin disorders and aging issues all at the same time. It not only tightens sagging skin and smooths out deep wrinkles, it is also able to resurface the face and remove acne scars, dark aging spots, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage. This is particularly beneficial for patients living in Australia, where a significant amount of sun exposure is accumulated throughout our lives.
From $500 – $3000
Full face eCO2 resurfacing laser | $3000
This package is inclusive of:
eCO2 ablative laser treatment involves the use of tiny laser beams to heat up and then remove small areas of tissue. As the area heals, the production of collagen and extracellular matrix renews the skin. The result is skin that is more elastic and firm than before.
All of the top layers of skin are targeted with a carbon dioxide, ultra-pulse beam that eliminates aging and damaged skin cells. Tiny areas are systematically infused with microscopic heat channels, stimulating new collagen production in skin tissues below the surface. Blood vessels and nerve endings in the new layer of skin tighten as they heal, producing a beautiful texture and bright complexion.
Clients will be welcomed to our clinic and have topical numbing gel applied to the treatment area. The eCO2 laser resurfacing procedure will be provided. After the treatment, a post-procedure balm will be applied to the skin and an Aftercare Pack will be provided with detailed instructions. The time spent in the clinic will be around 1-1.5 hours, but the procedure itself is only 20 – 30 minutes.
This procedure uses laser energy to dramatically rejuvenate the face by causing ablation and coagulation at targeted levels in the skin. eCO2 laser skin resurfacing addresses deep lines formed by scars or deep wrinkling, elastosis (a loss of elasticity) and uneven textural changes in the skin as we age. The Benefits of laser resurfacing are:
3 – 6
Following eCO2 laser resurfacing, there will be approximately 5-7 days of social down time. With social down time you can continue your usual activities, but you may not wish to attend work or social activities as your face will be red and flaky. It is generally advised that patients rest at home for at least the first few days. During recovery patients are encouraged to perform regular vinegar soaks and apply post-procedure balm at home. Following this first week, the face will have a new layer of skin with an improved complexion, however there may be some mild redness for the first month after treatment. Rest up – you deserve it!
Say goodbye to harsh, painful treatments and the thought of needles against your skin. Thanks to advancements in dermatological technology (and the cries from countless clinics for a better solution) we have the answer to our collective prayers. ECO2 Toning and LALA Peel use the same basic principle to improve your skin’s appearance. However, what sets these popular treatments apart is the method used during treatment. While traditional microneedling needles can tear the skin, ECO2 filaments create consistent microchannels without causing actual damage to the skin. LALA Peel, performed after, is a chemical peel which acts as a filler, leading to glassy and luminous skin.
Hands up if you’re afraid of needles! This is for you. Using ECO2 Toning leads to less discomfort, inflammation, and downtime for patients. And if that wasn’t enough, the delivery solution further enhances the benefits of microchanneling by using healing elements like hyaluronic acid and Stem Cells.
Unlike other peeling that involves physical skin peeling, we recommend LALA Peel to people with sensitive skin due to its low irritation. There are also fewer side effects such as discolouration and redness, so you can routine to your normal routine straight after.
$399
Your skin is prepared with a deep cleanse to ensure all build up is removed prior to the ECO2 tone, which create the same effect as skin needling in a fraction of the time.
Within 60 seconds the micro channels are created and the 2 phases of the treatment is performed – which is the use of LALA peel protocal.
Unlike traditional peeling, which was treated with acidic components, LALA Peel was developed to be peeling using a neutral component of pH5.5 called LHA. By combing the key ingredients that can help solve various skin problems in an optimised ratio, it stimulates collagen from the inside of the skin to induce regeneration, not to exfoliate regardless of skin type.
We recommend undergoing this treatment 3 times over 12 weeks for a corrective result, or once every 3 – 12 weeks as skin health management.
After your treatment it is very normal to have mild swelling or redness which can subside over 12 to 48 hours. It may take up to 8 weeks to see the full impact as the collagen and elastin supply increases in your skin.
A disappearing act for deep pigmentation. The Dermamelan treatment is a depigmentation treatment for the removal of pigmentation spots on all skin types. Both discolourations on light and dark skin can be remedied with this depigmentation treatment.
The difference between Cosmelan and Dermamelan is that Cosmelan is generally used for new, superficial and mild-moderate pigmentation, whilst Dermamelan is a medical-grade peel used for deep, stubborn and moderate-severe pigmentation.
Dermamelan is a treatment that can be performed on all skin types but has been specifically designed for hormonal pigmentation (such as melasma). However, it is also beneficial for people with breakout-prone skin, rosacea and redness, and for those who want to achieve optimal skin health.
$2500
The Dermamelan peel takes place in-clinic two weeks after the lactic acid peel. To perform the treatment, our specialists will prep your skin with an oil-removing solution and then apply the Dermamelan mask. The mask will remain on your skin for 6 – 12 hours, depending on your skin type and pigmentation severity.

The side effects of Dermamelan Treatment is mostly redness and flaking, and occasionally a little soreness for the first 1-2 days after the main Peel. The degree of reaction depends on how long the main Peel is left on for and will vary from person-to-person as we are all unique.
You will be provided with detailed aftercare instructions spanning from the moment you leave the clinic, 48 hours after initial treatment, all the way to 1-7 months post-treatment.
Some scars tell a story. Other scars end up facing off with TCA CROSS (which stands for Trichloroacetic acid chemical reconstruction of skin scars). Our TCA Paint procedure uses high-strength Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) applied specifically to the scar – not the surrounding skin. This prevents damage to the normal surrounding skin, resulting in much faster recovery & less side effects.
TCA Paint is a treatment for improving acne scars and deep depressed scar tissue, working best for ice pick scars and boxcar scars. TCA Paint may work for other types of acne scars as well as for dilated pores, making them less shallow.
$500 per area
Consultation and physical examination to establish suitability is essential. Once we have the green light, your skin is thoroughly cleaned and then a small amount of TCA is deposited into the base and along the interior of the scar/pore with an applicator. This causes a localised inflammatory reaction resulting in collagen remodeling, as well as the formation of new collagen fibres. Using the TCA paint technique – each scar is individually treated by painting around the perimetre of each scar, avoiding the surrounding skin. Treatment takes 5 – 30 minutes depending on the extent of your scars. The treatment is very well tolerated and does not require topical anaesthesia. Procedures such as lasers & microneedling are often performed at the time of TCA. The result is the improved appearance of scars and pores.
3 – 6
TCA is a self-neutralising peel and once the “frosting” or whitening of the treated area is visualised, the process is complete. The treated areas can remain white for 3 – 9 hours after treatment. We then apply an antiseptic emollient followed by sunscreen and concealer, if required.
Following the initial period, the white spots turn red for approximately 3 – 4 days before they shed away. Complete recovery is usually at 5 – 7 days, however slight redness may persist up to 2 weeks.
The face can be cleaned using non-soap cleansers and moisturiser as usual. Vitamin A cream can be resumed once the redness has settled.
What’s in a name? This unique chemical peel works by removing retained skin similarly to how a snake sheds its skin. And when it comes to your skin, we’ve got this special technique wrapped around our finger. The exclusive treatment offered at the Sydney Dermal Lounge uses ‘effective’ ingredients to rejuvenate the skin and target common issues.
The Python peel is made for all skin types. It works to nourish the skin from the inside. The results are amazing after one treatment – refining pores, improving skin hyperpigmentations, controlling acne and preventing acne scars, and lifting melasma.
$2000
Python is a clinical peel which is left on the skin over a 6 – 8 hour period. The Python pushes the skin to self regulate and peel like a snake shedding its skin. Unlike the flaking of a standard chemical peel, the Python will create a rapid peel back and achieve ultimate regeneration. It’s an oh-so-satisfying experience.
After one Python peel, overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. A series of 2 – 3 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as melasma and active acne.
Downtime starts on day 3 and ends on day 7. This treatment is more powerful than most peels, but without the associated pain or downtime.
The amount of peeling skin associated with Python peel is mainly a sloughing of thin sheets of epidermis skin that begins around day 3 and generally is completed by day 6 or 7.

During the isolated treatment of enlarged pores, our laser is equipped with a multi-depth handpiece. Rather than abalating skin tissue like eCO2, the MDF (multi-depth fractional) laser plumps and acts as a spring, allowing a faster visual result.
MDF treatment offers a range of benefits, including the reduction of acne scarring and enlarged pores, improved skin texture and tone, and achieving an improvement in age spots and other skin imperfections.
MDF treatment is a safe and effective treatment that is commonly recommended as a treatment modality for people with acne scarring, enlarged pores, and other skin imperfections. It is particularly beneficial for those looking for a treatment option that carries less downtime compared to eCO2. Commonly, MDF treatment can be alternated with eCO2 and LaseMD for a superior outcome.
The number of MDF treatments required may vary depending on the individual’s personal skin concerns and goals. Most people require a series of 3 – 6 treatments, spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart in order to achieve optimal results.
Most people find MDF treatments to be a comfortable and relatively painless procedure with topical anaesthesia. A heat or sunburn-like sensation may be experienced for up to 24 hours post undergoing treatment.
There is minimal downtime required after MDF treatments. Patients may experience mild redness and petechiae (very small red/purple spots caused by bleeding underneath the skin), specifically in the treatment area up to 5 days after the procedure.
Scar tissue is a reminder of our history, but it’s not something we have to carry with us. For those ready to move on, we’ve got you. Thanks to Lutronic’s new technology, we use the Hollywood Spectra™ device to effectively reduce atrophic acne scarring, enlarged pores and to fully rejuvenate the skin.
The MDF (multi-depth fractional) laser device allows our practitioners to choose different depths of focus and selectively target specific concerns. This revolutionary treatment offers significantly reduced downtime and discomfort compared to some other treatment options.
Those with a lower pain threshold, and looking for a more painless option (compared to eCO2) to address their acne scar tissue.
From $1500
The Hollywood Spectra™ MDF treatment works by delivering short bursts of laser energy to the skin, creating microscopic channels in the skin’s surface. These channels stimulate the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen production and skin rejuvenation. The treatment can be customised for each individual patient to target specific skin concerns, such as acne scars and enlarged pores.
