Every 3 – 8 weeks. Peels can be built up through levels, working up to a level 3 or performed regularly to maintain optimal skin health and functions.

After Care

Day 1
Clinic treatment where the herbal peel is applied to your skin. You will feel like you have just had a workout in the gym and it can feel tight. When you touch your skin, tiny herb particles can be felt on the surface.

Day 2
Your prescribed home care products are applied at home. The herb particles will start to dissolve over the next two days, and in the process, they release their bio-active ingredients – vitamins, minerals, trace elements and more.

Days 3-4
Your skin will feel tight. The peeling can start on the third day but usually occurs on the fourth day for most people. Each person is different, and the peeling process usually depend on the health of the client and the speed of their metabolism. The peeling usually begins around the mouth area and over the next 24 hours it progresses over the rest of the face.

Day 5
Return to Sydney Dermal Lounge for post treatment to reveal your new skin. This treatment removes the final traces of old skin and applies a vitamin mask treatment rich in beneficial substances to protect your new skin.

DMK Enzyme Therapy

Dysfunctional skin: be damned. We re-re-rewind the skin to function as young healthy skin would with DMK’s signature Enzyme Therapy treatment. Over 50 years have been spent perfecting this treatment, utilising the beneficial effects of transfer messenger enzymes. It encourages blood circulation, oxygenation and lymphatic drainage, while simultaneously – through reverse osmosis – helping to flush away toxins and free radicals to stimulate collagen production. Formulated to be the basis of all DMK Skin Revision treatments to enhance optimal skin function, Enzyme Therapy works to create long-lasting results.

DMK (Danné Montague-King) is the world renowned super-innovative skin care system based on the principle that cells of the skin respond positively to the chemistry they recognise. Developed around a revolutionary concept that removes, rebuilds, protects and maintains, it works with the structure and function of the skin to generate long lasting results for skin that looks dewy, peppy and glowing with health.

Who is it suitable for?

DMK Enzyme Therapy has a multitude of benefits in treating all skin conditions. When your skin is throwing something up – acne, rosacea, dehydrated dry skin, pigmentation, enlarged pores – it is a sign of imbalance in the skin. DMK doesn’t work on the surface of the skin to treat these symptoms. It works at a much deeper cellular level to treat the imbalance.

90 minutes

What is involved?

This is not your ordinary facial. We first locate your main concerns, and thoroughly assess the skin from a functional and structural perspective. Then we tailor a bespoke treatment, combining various DMK formulations, followed by our signature Enzyme Therapy Masque. Once the DMK Enzyme Treatment has been applied to your face, neck and décolletage it will start to harden (kind of like cement). Eventually it completely tightens.

Purpose/Goal

DMK enzymes are designed to remodel the architecture of the skin and revise dysfunctional processes that have developed as a result of aging and sun damage – reconstructing and returning the skin to its original functioning condition.

What do enzymes do?

  • Hydrolyze dead skin cells
  • Increase oxygenation
  • Boost cellular energy and activity
  • Encourage new collagen and elastin formulation
  • Flush out cellular waste and debris

Skin Conditions it targets

All skin concerns can be treated with modified DMK treatment.

How many sessions?

The number of treatments you require varies depending on the severity of your skin condition, how long you have had it, and if there are any underlying contributing factors. A skin consultation will enable us to create a customised treatment and Home Prescriptive program best suited to achieving your dream skin.

DMK’s concept of remove, rebuild, protect, and maintain utilises our signature Enzyme Therapy treatments to encourage the revision and rebuilding of new more optimally functioning cells for healthier younger-looking skin. Our Home Prescriptive products then enhance, protect and maintain these results. Only having treatments and not using products or vice versa means we cannot guarantee the incredible results that are possible.

After Care

There isn’t any! Just try to avoid sun exposure for the following 24 hours. Postpone that beach holiday.

SDL Level 1 Peels

Let us work our fairy godmother-meets-mad scientist magic to uncover radiant skin underneath. Our SDL Level 1 Peels is one of the most advanced range of chemical peels designed for skin professionals with the purpose of providing an exponential, customised result. This range is made of single-substance peels based on alpha and beta hydroxy acids at different concentrations and combined formulas that offer a synergism of chemical exfoliants with active ingredients aimed at specific skin indications.

Who is it suitable for?

Each SDL Level 1 peel offers a range of intensities and may be layered for enhanced results.

Lactic Acid contains the largest molecular size of the 3 available AHA’s. Its large size allows it to slowly and gently absorb into the skin to renew aged skins and restore hydration.

Mandelic Acid is known as an AHA that ‘acts like’ a BHA. While being able to lift sun damage and stimulate collagen production, it’s also able to reduce oil flow and reduce pore size.

Glycolic Acid has the smallest molecular size of any AHA which allows it to penetrate the skin the quickest. By absorbing quickly into the skin, it results in the greatest amount of shedding which make it the preferred option for aged and sun damaged skin.

Salicylic Acid has oil soluble molecules which allow them to easily pass through the lipid barrier of the skin and decongest clogged pores for clearer and blemish free skin. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties also help to soothe inflamed acne skins and help prevent future breakouts.

Jessner Peel is a combination of Lactic, Citric and Salicylic Acids that work together for more radiant and younger looking skin. By combining AHA’s and a BHA Skin Peel together, skin tone becomes more even, sun damage can be lifted, and it even helps to control adult acne. Expect some downtime after this peel as a few days of shedding can occur.

Cost

From $199

What is involved?

Your dermal specialist will base the treatment around your concerns. Peels are measured in strength by percentage. An in-depth consultation will be carried out to create the best course of treatment for your individual needs.

Chemical agents are chosen and the treatment is modified to achieve your ideal outcome.

The skin is prepped and the chemical process will follow. Once the clinical end point is achieved, the peel will be deactivated and your skin will the undergo the heal light stage.

Purpose/Goal

Our skin’s natural regeneration takes 28 days. However, the process may slow down or be interrupted due to events like menopause, adolescence, and pregnancy. Some of the signs of the slowing down of the skin’s renewal process are: acne, oily skin, open pores, textured skin, wrinkles, dullness, pigmentation, and dark spots. A chemical peel addresses these skin concerns by applying a chemical solution ot the skin, which causes the outermost layers to exfoliate and eventually peel off, revealing smoother, clearer skin.

Skin Conditions it targets

  • Melasma
  • Sun spots
  • Sun damage
  • Acne scarring
  • Age spots
  • Post-Inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
  • Skin discoloration on chest, neck, and back
  • Blemishes
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Dark spots on buttocks
  • Dark patches on knees, elbows, feet
  • Discolouration from laser treatments such as Fraxel, GentleYag, Erbium, CO2, IPL, and Picosure lasers

How many sessions?

Most of our peel protocols are one peel every two weeks, for 12 weeks (6 peels in total).

After Care

Most of our peels are non-invasive, showing no signs of any side effects, however, some clients may experience slight peeling, redness, or dryness. Fast skin repair by Mesoestetic is to be applied to the skin to significantly reduce any peeling or irritation.

We recommend you continue to avoid any self-tan, AHA’s, BHA’s, and Retinols for up to 14 days post peel. Exercise and heat treatments i.e sunbeds and saunas, waxing, and threading is not advisable for 14 days post peel treatment, or until the skin is fully intact and healed.

SDL Laser Facial

Say goodbye to harsh, painful treatments and the thought of needles against your skin. Thanks to advancements in dermatological technology (and the cries from countless clinics for a better solution) we have the answer to our collective prayers. ECO2 Toning and LALA Peel use the same basic principle to improve your skin’s appearance. However, what sets these popular treatments apart is the method used during treatment. While traditional microneedling needles can tear the skin, ECO2 filaments create consistent microchannels without causing actual damage to the skin. LALA Peel, performed after, is a chemical peel which acts as a filler, leading to glassy and luminous skin.

Who is it suitable for?

Hands up if you’re afraid of needles! This is for you. Using ECO2 Toning leads to less discomfort, inflammation, and downtime for patients. And if that wasn’t enough, the delivery solution further enhances the benefits of microchanneling by using healing elements like hyaluronic acid and Stem Cells.

Unlike other peeling that involves physical skin peeling, we recommend LALA Peel to people with sensitive skin due to its low irritation. There are also fewer side effects such as discolouration and redness, so you can routine to your normal routine straight after.

Cost

$399

What is involved?

Your skin is prepared with a deep cleanse to ensure all build up is removed prior to the ECO2 tone, which create the same effect as skin needling in a fraction of the time.

Within 60 seconds the micro channels are created and the 2 phases of the treatment is performed – which is the use of LALA peel protocal.

Unlike traditional peeling, which was treated with acidic components, LALA Peel was developed to be peeling using a neutral component of pH5.5 called LHA. By combing the key ingredients that can help solve various skin problems in an optimised ratio, it stimulates collagen from the inside of the skin to induce regeneration, not to exfoliate regardless of skin type.

Purpose/Goal

  • Redefine and tighten
  • Achieve glass skin
  • Hydrate and plump
  • Rehydrate and balance
  • Tackle superficial pigment concerns
  • Help enlarged pores
  • Decrease active breakouts and congestion

Skin Conditions it targets

  • Dull / Dehydrated skin
  • Active breakouts
  • Sun damage
  • Open enlarged pores
  • Discolouration

How many sessions?

We recommend undergoing this treatment 3 times over 12 weeks for a corrective result, or once every 3 – 12 weeks as skin health management.

After Care

After your treatment it is very normal to have mild swelling or redness which can subside over 12 to 48 hours. It may take up to 8 weeks to see the full impact as the collagen and elastin supply increases in your skin.
